VI. I interviewed two individuals to see what their response would be to my (our) plan. Their responses are as follows.
I interviewed my neighbor Jeff Storm. Jeff believed that athletes in college should not be paid. He thought our plan would work, but personally he thought that college athletes didn't need to be paid. He said that they already get thousands of dollars in scholarships and don't need to get paid even more.

I also interviewed my mom, Marcy Simanonis. She thought that college athletes should be paid. She agreed with our plan and thought that the college athletes deserved to get paid due to all the revenue that their sports make. She also said that college athletes aren't allowed to get jobs during their seasons so they need some sort of income that they can spend recreationallly.

VII. My (our) answer, based on our research, to their objections and concerns are

The official amount should differ between sports but for each specific sport around the country, the amount will be the same. This amount will be calculated by the NCAA. Making sure that the amount is the same throughout the country, this will keep the range between the top programs such as Stanford, USC, Notre Dame and Texas from always recieving the top athletes and allowing smaller, less promient programs the oppurtunity to recieve top athletes.
